Adventuring Angels is a not for profit Social Enterprise specialising in outdoor learning for all ages, from 0 to 99 years and beyond.  We are passionate about:

• Encouraging all community members to explore their local environments to promote positive physical and mental health.

Adventuring Angels HQ is an old allotment site which is being developed into an outdoor learning site for all ages. 

Work takes place regularly to ensure the transformation of the site continues and is progressive, and the site improves it's ecological standing as well as providing a safe place for people to enjoy the outdoors. 

You can come along and attend an event, hire the site to run your own groups, have team building days, birthday parties, the scope is endless.

Adventuring Angels HQ offers a range of volunteering opportunities throughout the year. 

From corporate volunteering days to local residents volunteering throughout the year on specific projects. 

Often people volunteer to support a local community project and to improve their mental health.  Work ranges from weeding, to clearing large areas, helping out at workshops and sessions, and making the tea. 

There is always a brew on and plenty of goodies to fuel the workers, with many laughs along the way. 

We have welcomed volunteer days from St Leger Homes, Aalberts, HSBC bank, Volkerrail and many more organisations over the past few years. We are very grateful for all the work volunteers achieve.

Do you need an outdoor setting to run your own Forest School, run a team building day, celebrate a family occasion? 

Adventuring Angels HQ could be just the place you have been looking for.  You can book the site for a few hours to a day a week every week. Or you can book a birthday party/celebration with a fully qualified Forest School facilitator to look after your every need. 

Prices are available and subject to the needs of your requirements. 

If you are hiring the site to run your own outdoor learning sessions, all we ask is that you share your qualifications, insurance and public liability certificates and is preferable that you hold an Outdoor First Aid certificate.
